Stevie Nicks postpones Glasgow Hydro gig at last minute due to 'leg injury'

Stevie Nicks has postponed her performance at Glasgow's Hydro just hours before due she is due on stage on Saturday. Door were due to open in less than five hours when the OVO Hydro told fans that the concert on July 6 had been postponed.The venue said the legendary rock singer has undergone minor surgery on a 'leg injury' requiring her to take some time off.

It will also mean her performance in Manchester on Tuesday, July 9, will be rescheduled. The Fleetwood Mac icon announced in March that she would be playing live in Glasgow this summer.

The 75-year-old American icon has made a mark as a solo artist following her time working with the band. The last time she played at the Hydro was in 2015 with her band mates on their Show Must Go On tour.

Stevie made headlines last week when she was spotted at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Dublin. Swift, who has long cited Stevie as her musical inspiration, dedicated a song to her during the set.The Stand Back singer is also due to headline at BST Hyde Park this summer in London.In a post on X, they said: "Due to a recent leg injury requiring a minor surgical procedure that will need a few days of recovery time, Stevie Nicks’ scheduled performances in Glasgow Saturday 6 July and Manchester Tuesday 9 July have been postponed."More information will be available at point of purchase, ticketholders are advised to hold on to their tickets as rescheduled dates will be announced soon.
