OK! caught up with John's colleague, Steph McGovern this week and the star couldn't help but share her support for John, 32.
The 39 year old presenter, who was spotted cheereing John on in the Strictly studio audience last weekend, told us: "John is incredibly funny, but also so kind and caring.
He’s not afraid to talk about whatever he’s dealing with in his life, which is brilliant." Steph - who shares a two year old daughter with her partner - continued to add that she believes John is a great role model.
