Taylor Swift's two-day, sold-out concerts in Pittsburgh over the weekend. Speaking from inside the Steelers locker room, Pickett admitted to missing Swift's show as he and his fiancée, Amy Paternoster, are nearing their wedding day.

The 25-year-old added that he hopes the '22' singer can forgive him for missing out on her popular 'Eras Tour' to answer love's call.  'We're driving home on Friday to get it all squared away,' Pickett told a reporter about the upcoming union, per footage shared on the Steeler's Instagram page on Friday.  'But yeah, we're like 10 days out so, I'm pumped, it's going to be awesome. 'When the reporter noticed that his plans coincided with Swift's touchdown in Steel City, Pickett said he hopes he can make up for his absence in the near future.  'I hope she can forgive us, but maybe we'll be at the next one,' last year's Heisman Trophy finalist said.

Swift's two-night event at Acrisure Stadium ended on Saturday, with the 12-time Granny winner selling out with an attendance of 73,117 fans - the largest ever in stadium history and a roughly month after Jets newboy Aaron Rodgers saw her perform live at MetLife Stadium.

Her next stop: U. S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on June 23. Pickett won't technically be married by then, but the soon-to-be second-year QB is getting closer to tying the knot with his fiancée of roughly a year and a half.
