'Steel Magnolias' star Carol Sutton has died. The 76-year-old actress sadly passed away after a month-long battle with Covid-19, New Orleans mayor LaToya Cantrell has confirmed.

Carol, who LaToya hailed as "the Queen of New Orleans, was known for her roles in 'Treme', 'Claws', 'Runaway Jury' and 'Queen Sugar'.
