Star died after ‘medical emergency’ at shopping centre
ok.co.ukDetails of the death of Michael Jackson’s brother Tito have been revealed.The founding member of the Jackson 5 died on Sunday aged 70, his children later taking to social media to confirm the news “with heavy hearts.” It has now been revealed that Jackson was in a New Mexico shopping centre when he suffered the medical emergency that on the evening of his death.
According to People, who obtained a police press release, at around 6:15 pm on Sunday in near Gallup, New Mexico, a police officer was informed there was ‘an individual requiring medical attention and promptly requested an ambulance’ near the American Heritage Plaza.
Jackson was pronounced dead after arriving at a local hospital. However, an official cause of death has yet to be released. In the lead up to his death, Tito was performing with Jackie Jackson and Marlon Jackson of the Jackson 5 as recently as August, as he took to the stage for Fool in Love Festival at Hollywood Park Grounds in California.
His devastated children – Taj, 41, Taryll, 39, and TJ, 46, who found fame themselves in the band 3T – paid tribute on social media.They wrote: ‘”It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson is no longer with us.
