Staff and regulars at Coatbridge bar raise money for cancer charity with football fun day

A popular Coatbridge bar and restaurant raised over £4000 for the Beatson Cancer Charity by holding a football tournament and fun day.Stacey Gallagher, who runs the Whifflet Arms in the town, decided to organise the community event as the charity is a cause that is close to her heart.Teams made up of regulars and their friends and families took place in the seven-a-side tournament at Whifflet Park which was followed by a pub-quiz and after-party.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
