Stacks of fruit hurled into road as huge fight erupts outside Manchester store
manchestereveningnews.co.ukThese are the shocking scenes outside a south Manchester shop as a topless man covered in blood was filmed grappling with other men and lobbing fruit inside the store.
On Thursday (18 August) officers were called to reports of assault at a store on Stockport Road, Longsight. Distressing video footage taken outside Manchester Superstore on the road appears to show two groups of men involved in a fracas.
Police say no major injuries were reported and the three men involved have not been identified. In the clip released to the M.E.N, which is several minutes long, shouting and swearing can be heard as a number of men are seen fighting with each other before boxes of fruit are lobbed across the pavement and into the shop. Another male, seen with his top off and covered in blood, can then be seen to appear in the footage. Shouting and swearing can be heard as the altercation continues.
