Stacey Dooley reckons she's not a victim of the infamous Strictly Curse despite her romance with professional partner Kevin Clifton.

The documentary maker, 33, says she resisted falling for Kevin, 37, while they were paired together on Strictly Come Dancing because she thought it would be "cheesy".

She says they didn't get romantic until after the show finished, and that therefore she didn't fall victim to the curse. Many couples have fallen for each other while dancing together on the BBC One show, with some even leaving their existing partners to be with their new love interest.

Stacey split from her boyfriend Sam Tucknott three months after the series had ended, and she and Kevin had lifted the glitterball trophy together.
