Aberdeen on Saturday postponed until Thursday August 20 after eight Dons players were forced to self-isolate following a visit to a bar in the Granite City.

Brown admits he's frustrated by the delay.But he refused to stick the boot into Pittodrie club and insists it could have happened anywhere, as he urged players to take responsibility for themselves and act accordingly.

Scottish football received special dispensation to get back to training and playing games amid the coronavirus pandemic and the incident with the Aberdeen players left First Minister Nicola Sturgeon raging.

She has already warned that it happening again could result in football being shut down in Scotland once more and Brown hopes that players are listening.
