SSPCA appeals for information after sick dog found in Lanarkshire has to be put down
dailyrecord.co.ukThe Scottish SPCA is appealing for information after a seriously ill Staffordshire Bull Terrier was found in Lanarkshire earlier this month.The dog, who had a huge noticeable tumour, was found as a stray and handed in to Coatbridge police station by two members of the public.Now the SSPCA are appealing for the two men who found the dog to contact them in the hope of providing more information around the circumstances.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

On further investigation it was discovered the tumour had spread to her chest.“On veterinary advice it was decided that the kindest thing to do would be to put her to sleep and end her suffering.“We’d like to speak to the members of the public who handed her in so we can get some more information on the circumstances in which she was initially found."The two members of the public who handed her in are both male.
