A Scottish bus driver was forced to steer their vehicle off of the road after a "technical malfunction" affected its ability to run earlier on Sunday.
The driver at the wheel of the 240 service between Glasgow and Overtown, North Lanarkshire, had to take action as the bus travelled through Uddingston.
An image sent to the Record shows the single-decker parked on a grassy verge to the north of Laburnum Road in the South Lanarkshire town, at around 3pm on February 6.
First Bus, which operates the 240 under the Lanarkshire Connect banner, says no passengers were injured as a result of the driver's emergency manoeuvre.
