For those reasons, and probably ones that are much more sentimental too, Geri Horner (nee Halliwell) was seen paying tribute to the song that made her and her bandmates – Emma Bunton, Mel B, Mel C and Victoria Beckham – famous all over the world.
Taking to Instagram, Geri shared a little snippet from the Wannabe music video and added the caption: ‘#Friendshipneverends ♥️Wannabe was released 24 years ago today!
