SNP Westminster leader Stephen Flynn contradicts Nicola Sturgeon on controversial Cambo oil field

New SNP Westminster leader Stephen Flynn has opened up a split with Nicola Sturgeon on the controversial Cambo oil field plan.Flynn said the project could go ahead if it meets climate requirements, unlike the First Minister who said it "should not get the green light".In an interview with the Daily Record, Ian Blackford’s successor said: "My position on Cambo has never really deviated. "If it meets the climate compatibility checkpoint, if that's a strengthened climate compatibility checkpoint, as what the Scottish Government would like to see, then I'm not sure why it wouldn't go ahead."But it would need to meet the threshold as laid out.
