SNP football chief rejects plea for more fans in Scottish grounds after social distancing fears in England

In England, up to 4000 are allowed in tier one, while up to 2000 can go in tier two. Tier three effectively shuts stadiums.The rules in Scotland permit up to 300 fans in level 1 areas, which is good news for Highland clubs Ross County and Inverness Caledonian Thistle - but grim for thousands of supporters across much of the country including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.The Scottish Government has resisted repeat attempts by football chiefs to loosen the rules.
