Snow map predicts Scotland's chances of wintery weather amid chilly conditions

A snow map has suggested that parts of the UK, and particularly Scotland, could see some wintery conditions moving into next week.The Met Office's long range forecast does not yet predict snow, but they have said that there could be "winter showers" in the north-east of the UK towards the end of next week.

On Saturday, January 28, they predicted that a small area in the Scottish Highlands will have an 80 percent of snow.This Sunday, the dark orange and red areas around Scotland show that many parts of the country have a 70 percent to 90 percent chance of snow.The chance of snow drops slightly on Monday as there is a 40 percent likelihood in Scotland.
