However, if you put away your winter coat you might want to dust it back off as the UK gears up for freezing weather and even snow and hail in some parts.The Met Office has issued a weather warning in parts of Scotland ahead of the freezing weather due to hit this week.

The warning states: “Snow and hail showers will lead to ice forming on untreated surfaces and hazardous driving conditions. “Wintry showers on Tuesday evening will turn increasingly to snow and hail during the early hours of Wednesday. “This will lead to ice forming on untreated surfaces.
