The Home of the Year judges didn’t hold back when it giving their opinion on this week’s houses, especially new judge Amanda.
And it was the vintage themed apartment with upcycled pieces in Antrim that bore the brunt of much of the criticism. While Suzie liked the ‘New York loft’ feel of the exposed red brick walls, Amanda didn’t enjoy the mid-20th-century vintage pieces. ‘If this was my own apartment I’d take every bit of loose furniture out and start again,’ she bluntly stated but complimented the rounded brickwork in the windows.
For Hugh, the kitchen space lacked ‘bold, dark colour’ and he recommended it be sprayed to lift the space. The main bedroom caused more disagreement as the dark green hues proved ‘too much’ for Amanda but Hugh
