Bollywood legend Irrfan Khan has passed away at the age of 53 following a serious illness, it has been confirmed. The Slumdog Millionaire star was rushed to hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday with an infection where he remained in intensive care.
Sadly, the actor passed away on Wednesday, his death confirmed in an official statement by his representatives. The actor had previously been diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour, something he had spoken about openly since 2018.
