Great British Bake Off last year after fending off fellow bakers Crystelle Pereira and Chigs Parmar in a crazy final.The full-time baker has spoken exclusively to Express.co.uk about his time on the show and how he may have "sliced" off more than he bargained for with Channel 4.Giuseppe's life has been non-stop since he won the show in November last year, quitting his job as an engineer, to launch his career as a full-time baker.Express.co.uk asked Giuseppe about Joe Sugg fainting on the Celebrity spin-off and whether incidents like this happen a lot.He replied: "That happens a lot, those knives are the best possible.They do not slice only cake."We usually have our fingers plastered up with the blue tape and there is always a medic or doctor on patrol because those things happen all too often."We are warned on day one about how sharp the knives are so we know they are really really sharp.
Be careful."But you can be as careful as you like, I myself sliced a few inches off my finger!"Giuseppe also opened up about what was different on the show when he took part, to when he was a viewer at home.He expressed: "As a viewer of the show I was simply enjoying it as many people do at home.
