Sir Rod Stewart has revealed he'll be supporting Brazil over England in this year's World Cup. The star got up early this morning to appear on Magic Radio with Ronan Keating and Harriet Scott to talk about life and one of his favourite subjects, football.
It's no secret that the 77-year-old is a huge Celtic fan, always supports his roots and cheers on Scotland when they compete in international competitions.So when the subject of the World Cup came up, presenter Harriet went on to ask the Maggie May singer if he will be supporting England since Scotland didn't qualify for the competition.
He said: "My dad was from Edinburgh so I have Scottish blood in me and we don't like them doing well. But saying that all my mates support England!
But I'll be supporting Brazil!"Rod has often spoken about falling in love with football because of his dad. He even dedicated a song to him on his new album, Touchline.
