A video has emerged of Sir Keir Starmer being called out by a pro-Palestine protester on board a train to Scotland. The Labour leader was confronted as he travelled to Glasgow for a charity event on Thursday by a man who filmed the interaction. The politician sat in silence with his arms crossed as the male asked him: “How many more children have to die?” After approaching Starmer and a colleague, the train protester ranted: “Keir, how many more children in Palestine have to die before you call for a ceasefire?“Over 7000 children have died.
Over 7000 children have been slaughtered by Israel. This is unacceptable. What happened to human rights? What happened to democracy?
We call for peace. We call for democracy.“We don’t see any of that when it comes to the Palestinians. 7000 children. How many more have to die?
Where is your humanity, where is your humanity?”The clip ends with the man being ushered out the carriage by members of Starmer’s staff.
