Sir David Attenborough delighted a starstruck Prince George by giving him a fossilised tooth during a private screening of the naturalist's new documentary at Kensington Palace.

The young prince looked captivated as he was handed the special gift, the tooth of a carcharocles megalodon, a shark that was once a sea predator.
