Simone Ashley Confirms Breakup from Tino Klein, Says She's in Her 'Single Era'

Simone Ashley is going through a breakup right now and she’s pointing out the irony that she is promoting a romantic comedy film at the same time.

The 29-year-old Bridgerton actress has confirmed that she split from boyfriend Tino Klein and it sounds like the breakup was recent.

While promoting her new Prime Video rom-com Picture This, Simone talked about being in her “single era” right now. Keep reading to find out more… “It’s kind of ironic I’m promoting a rom-com and as of January this year, I’ve been entering my single era,” Simone said on the Woman’s Hour podcast.

She added, “So I’m focusing on me, and focusing my work, and my inner confidence. It feels like a different chapter from when Bridgerton came out, where things were just so crazy.” Simone also talked about how being on Bridgerton changed her life. “It’s something that I’ll cherish in my heart forever, that show and what it did for me, and it opened so many doors for me and hopefully starting to open doors for more women that look like me,” she said. “A lot of my dreams are coming true, so it’s been the most positive, amazing thing and gosh it feels like so long ago that era where that show came out.
