Sick Scots shopkeeper jailed for raping vulnerable woman in back room of store

jailed for seven years yesterday. Shamas Pervaiz, 52, preyed on the woman who was half his age and quizzed her about breast implants before carrying out the sex attack.

Pervaiz denied raping the woman but was unable to explain why her DNA was found on the sofa in the grubby back room where the attack took place.

At the High Court in Dundee, Lord Weir said: "You were found guilty after trial of two serious sexual offences committed against a vulnerable female who was not in a position to give consent to the acts the jury was satisfied you committed. "You do not accept the verdict of the jury on both rape convictions.
