Police are hunting a gunman after shots were fired on a street in south Manchester. Officers were scrambled to the scene on Albert Road in Levenshulme after reports of 'multiple shots fired' at around 12am today (Saturday).
Cops believe in the run-up to the shooting, a vehicle was damaged by two males - one who was armed with a suspected gun. Police said the males were then seen chasing a third male, believed to be aged in his 20s.

A cordon remains in place on a stretch of Albert Road as investigations are carried out. Police believe the shooting was 'targeted'.
