Cynthia Onyedinmanasu Chinasaokwu Erivo (born 8 January 1987) is an English actress, singer, and songwriter.

She is known for her performance as Celie in the Broadway revival of The Color Purple, for which she won the 2016 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical, the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, and the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program, the latter two she shared with the rest of the cast.

Erivo ventured into films in 2018, with roles in the heist film Widows and the thriller Bad Times at the El Royale. In 2019, she portrayed abolitionist Harriet Tubman in the biopic Harriet, for which she earned nominations for an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Shoshana Bean To Perform Holiday Concert at Apollo Theater

Broadway star and singer Shoshana Bean will perform a holiday concert at Harlem’s Apollo Theater on Dec. 4, her sixth time returning to the iconic stage.

Tickets are on sale as of 10:00 am, Oct. 25, and can be found at Ticketmaster.com Bean is currently slated to star in “Hell’s Kitchen,” a musical with music and lyrics by Alicia Keys running at the Public Theater; she will take a night off from the show to host her holiday concert.

Bean will be joined by her arranger and music director David Cooke, in addition to a band and special guest stars. Cooke has collaborated alongside Bean for almost 20 years, and has also worked with other popular artists including Taylor Swift, Ben Platt, Kesha, Thomas Rhett, Lizz Wright, Maren Morri and more.
