Shayne Ward bid farewell to Strictly Come Dancing with grace this weekend, delivering a defiant message to fans as he left the competition, amid cries of "fix" from his many supporters.The singer, 40, who rose to fame on X Factor, and his dance partner Nancy Xu, 33, faced a tough dance off performing a Rumba to Cyndi Lauper's classic 'Time After Time'.They were up against opera star Wynne Evans and pro dancer Katya Jones.

Judges Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse voted for Shayne and Nancy, but Anton Du Beke swung the balance by saving Wynne and Katya.

It all came down to head judge Shirley Ballas, who ultimately decided to save Wynne and Katya, leading to Shayne and Nancy's exit just before the iconic Blackpool week.

Despite the disappointment, Shayne expressed heartfelt thanks in his final interview for the show, saying: "I just want to say, you guys up there [the other contestants] are a dream.
