Ole Gunnar Solskjær KSO (Norwegian pronunciation: (About this soundlisten); born 26 February 1973) is a Norwegian professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of English club Manchester United. As a player, he played as a forward and spent most of his career with Manchester United. Solskjær also supervises a training academy for young footballers in his home town of Kristiansund, and is a patron of the Manchester United Supporters' Trust.

Odion Ighalo has already been replaced at Shanghai Shenhua since leaving to join Manchester United on loan in January - which could indicate a full-time switch to Old Trafford is on the cards.

The former Watford striker left China in the winter transfer window to seal a return to England three years after departing Vicarage Road, joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side on loan until the end of the season.

And he has already got off to a solid start at the club, scoring four goals in his first eight appearances - including a brace in their 3-0 win away at Derby in the FA Cup earlier this month.

United have the option to buy Ighalo outright from Shanghai at the end of the season, and it seems the Chinese Super League outfit are already planning
