There were scenes of chaos in Manchester city centre after a bus crashed into a central reservation on a major street. Around 15 to 20 people are understood to have been hurt, but their injuries were deemed to be 'minor'.
Fire bosses said seven people were taken to hospital. Images at the scene showed people being tended to by staff from a nearby Sainsbury's store, as well as paramedics, firefighters and police.
