First is a film called Stay Forte from director Doron Eran, which addresses the war between Israel and Hamas.
It focuses on three hostages that were taken by Hamas during an attack in October 2023. “This film is not just a narrative; it’s a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the bonds that unite us against unimaginable tragedy,” Selma said in a statement shared with the outlet. “I am honored to be part of this journey, which truly reflects the diverse fabric of Israeli society—people of many religions caught in the crossfire of conflict.” It is not clear exactly what role she’ll play in the film yet.
