A self-confessed chocoholic who loved comfort eating has revealed how she managed to lose over four stone. Debbie Lord piled on the pounds over lockdown after snacking on biscuits and chocolate – seeing her weight balloon to 14st.
At her heaviest, the 56-year-old was a dress size 18 and felt unhappy in her appearance. Despite trying multiple diets and weight loss groups, nothing seemed to help her slim down. Debbie, who lives in Winsford, Cheshire, told the Manchester Evening News: “I had put on a lot of weight and to be honest, I was struggling with it. “I was comfort eating a lot of chocolate and biscuits, anything sweet – I have an extremely sweet tooth.
If it’s in the house, I’ll eat it. If I see chocolate there, I’ll eat the lot. “Through lockdown it was worse because I was at home.
