SPFL of trying to silence clubs during a showdown meeting. The Ochilview Park chairman was raging to learn league bosses had taken the unusual move of muting the microphones of all 42 clubs during Wednesday’s conference call.

The meeting came just 48 hours after it was announced all football below the Scottish Championship was to be suspended for three weeks due to the pandemic.

League Two side Stenhousemuir were among a number of teams desperate to air their concerns and McMenemy was less than impressed at effectively being gagged.
