Dempster, who is now leading ambitious Queen's Park in their transition to full-time football, believes McKay's soon to be former domain of Scottish Rugby is worlds apart from his new remit at Parkhead as he replaces the retiring Lawwell this summer.
But she's backed him to take to Celtic and rise to the unique challenge of building the club back up after the dust settles on what looks like being a failed attempt at 10 In A Row.
Speaking to the BBC's Off The Ball, Dempster said: “I know Dom quite well. To me, he was one of the obvious choices.“He’s done a tremendous job at the SRU.
