The search operation for a missing woman who failed to return home after walking her dog in Wales has continued today (Thursday April 13).
Search teams worked through snow and gale force winds to try and locate Ausra Plungiene, 56, and her dog Eyora in Snowdonia.
Ausra, from Prestatyn, North Wales, was last seen on Tuesday (April 11) and is believed to have left for a walk with her dog at about 10.30am, but never returned home.
A search across Eryri national park (Snowdonia) was co-ordinated after the alarm was raised shortly before 10pm on Tuesday and her car was found in a remote car park in the Rowen area in the early hours of Wednesday, North Wales Police said.
