Sean Dyche has pleaded with Ross Wilson to invite him to Ibrox for the next Old Firm derby as he responded to speculation linking him as a possible successor to Giovanni van Bronckhorst if the Dutchman fails to ride out the current storm engulfing him.
The 51-year-old has been out of work since being sacked by Burnley seven months ago but insisted he still believes he can land a job in the English Premier League.
However, Dyche confessed he will have to “broaden my horizons” if he fails to get a gig in the top flight south of the border.
That could see him come onto Rangers’ radar if they are on a hunt for a new boss at that time and he revealed his relationship with Light Blues sporting director Wilson, who he worked with at Vicarage Road.
