The decision to scrap Free for Three has been described as a “hammer blow” to Paisley town centre.Renfrewshire Conservative group leader Neill Graham said dumping the free parking initiative is a “stab in the back” to local businesses.Renfrewshire Council confirmed last week that the scheme which allows people to park for free for up three hours in six town centre car parks would cease from February.
