Nick Jonas

Nicholas Jerry Jonas (born September 16, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter and actor. Jonas began acting in theater at the age of seven, and released his debut single in 2002 which caught the attention of Columbia Records where Jonas formed a band with his older brothers, Joe and Kevin, known as the Jonas Brothers. The group released their debut studio album It's About Time through the Columbia label in 2006.

After leaving Columbia Records and signing with Hollywood Records, the group released their self-titled second studio album in 2007, which became their breakthrough record.

The band became prominent figures on the Disney Channel during this time, gaining a large following through the network and they appeared in the widely successful musical television film Camp Rock (2008) and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010) as well as two of their own series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream (2008–2010) and Jonas (2009–2010).

Five sports will share £2.55 million worth of Scottish government support as help to combat losses during recent Covid restrictions arrives.Football is the biggest beneficiary with £1.79 million and ice hockey, horse racing, rugby and basketball also earn a percentage.The funding comes from the £5 million announced for sport on January 5.

It will cover 75% of losses sustained after a rise in Covid cases led to outdoor attendances being limited to 500 from 26 December.Motherwell's Boxing Day fixture against Livingston was impacted while Hamilton have missed home gates against Kilmarnock and Partick Thistle.Airdrie, Albion Rovers and Clyde will also benefit.Sports minister Maree Todd said: "This funding will help to ensure clubs are able to bridge the gap in revenue as spectators return safely to sports events in larger numbers when these restrictions are eased next week."This government has pledged to provide funding to support organisations affected by the necessary measures to keep us all safe."These allocations show we are doing this."The amount given to each club will be finalised by the SFA and SPFL.Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
