The mum of a schoolboy who wears girls' clothes to class has described him as "inspirational" and "brave". Theo Easton, seven, is in primary three at Hilltop Primary in Airdrie.

He told his mum he wanted to wear a pinafore to school when he returned after the summer holidays this year. His mum, Marion Easton, 39, said Theo first began wearing girls' clothes at home in 2022.

Marion said: "Theo as been wearing girls' clothes outside school for over a year. He's been out playing with his friends in both girls' and boys' clothes.

It really just depends how he feels each day."He's a rough and tumble wee boy. He plays with lego, and likes army games. He identifies as a boy, but he just doesn't feel comfortable in boys' clothes. "I don't know if this will become full-time thing or not.
