mum with two Down's syndrome children is urging people to be more accepting of the condition and "stop the stares". Christina Logan's son Mikey, 10 and nine-year-old daughter Missy, both have Down's syndrome and she says at times, they have suffered from people's ignorance.
To mark Down's Syndrome awareness month, mum-of-seven, Christina, from Balloch, has spoken out urging people to accept those who have the chromosomal condition and open their minds to it.She said: "We are lucky that our friends and family and neighbours all know Mikey and Missy and are all very accepting, but we have has some negative experiences."The kids get stares.
