A frustrated Scots mum has been left fearing her four-year-old son could fall 20ft out their flat window after a safety railing was not installed.
Kim Duncan claims she has been battling with Wellhouse Housing Association to have the broken window repaired at her Glasgow home since November last year.
The 40-year-old initially breathed a sigh of relief when she was told a replacement would be installed at their top floor flat on March 29.But she was horrified to discover the new window - which is actually a door - was put in without a metal safety railing after it was allegedly stolen.
The hospital worker has been left in tears and fearing young son Lewis Wright, who she describes as “hyperactive”, may open the window when someone isn’t watching.
