A Scots motorist was rushed to hospital after a car smashed through a wall. At around 9.15pm on Sunday, February 26, after cops were alerted to the incident on Craighouse Road, close to the Craiglockhart sports pitches in Edinburgh.

Police confirmed that enquiries are still ongoing. Pictures show a red car with its bonnet caved in and debris scattered on the road, reports Edinburgh Live.A number of witnesses were seen close to the wreckage, with some bystanders understood to have checked on the condition of the driver.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.15pm on Sunday, 25 February, 2024, police were called to Craighouse Road in Edinburgh, following a report of a car crashing into a wall."One man was taken to hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing.” Don't miss the latest news from around Scotland and beyond - Sign up to our daily newsletter here .
