dailyrecord.co.ukTwo Gladiators stars have been forced to pull out of filming due to injury including Scots athlete Sabre.Sabre - whose real name is Sheli McCoy - took to Instagram on Monday night to announce the sad news that she would be backing out of the show due to injury.
Sheli is a Scottish CrossFit and weightlifting champion as well as owning her own gym based in Dundee.Gladiators originally aired between 1992 and 2000 before being axed, but fans of the show won't have to wait long as the BBC revival of the show is set to premiere later this year.
The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh and his son Barney have been announced as the new hosts for the sports entertainment show.
Announcing the news of her injury, the Scots star wrote: "Sometimes you are the hammer … sometimes you are the nail. Whilst filming for Gladiators I incurred a little battle injury - a hamstring tear. "Up to that point, every single day was a blessing and every event an unforgettable experience that I would repeat in a second.
