Scots driver 'scared of needles' refused to give blood sample from car stinking of cannabis

A drug-driver who failed to provide a blood sample because he was “scared of needles” has been banned from the roads. When Kyle Rennie was pulled over in Paisley in his Volkswagen Polo by a cop, they noticed his car reeked of cannabis.

The 28-year-old failed a roadside drugs test and, after being arrested, he refused to provide a blood sample – used to determine the level of drugs in your system.Rennie, who previously worked as a window tinter in the car industry, stated he didn’t provide the sample on October 28, as he was “scared of needles”.
