A driver alleged to be involved in the supply of drugs has been arrested on a major Scots road.Officers from Road Policing Scotland swooped on the car as it drove along the A9 in Perth last night, making the stop on behalf of the Royal Military Police (RMP).The multi-force operation saw the vehicle searched by officers, while the motorist was handed over to the RMP.Images from the alleged bust show multiple police vehicles on the scene of the joint operation.A Tweet from Road Policing Scotland reads: "Perth Road Police stopped a vehicle on behalf of @1RegtRMP on the A9 last night that was suspected to be involved in the supply of drugs.
Positive search, driver arrested and being dealt with by @1RegtRMP."A spokesperson for Police Scotland said the alleged incident was being dealt with by the Royal Military Police.
