The heartbroken daughter of a dad who has been missing overnight has issued a desperate appeal for him to come home. Mark Simpson, 54, was reported missing from Oakbank Street in Airdrie on Monday, March 6.
A colleague of the painter and decorator phoned his wife Caroline, 52, after he failed to show up for his lift to work.Mark, who suffers from a heart condition, also left his medication behind.His daughter Donna, 34, told the Record: "My mum got up and noticed his keys and phone were still in the house.
She thought he must have forgotten to take them because he was in a rush for work."His work phoned and said he didn't come out of the house for his usual morning lift."My mum's in a blind panic.
She thought she heard him getting ready for work in the bathroom on Monday morning but now we think that was my little sister Sophie."We don't have a clue what has happened.
