A search operation is underway to trace a mother and daughter missing from a Scots island for almost four weeks.Catherine Costello, 57, and her daughter Eve Pender, 13, have been reported as missing from their home on the Isle of Lewis.
The pair were last seen at the bus station in Farraline Park in Inverness at 2pm on Wednesday, February 22. They were reported missing to police on March 17.They have not been seen or heard from since.
Officers investigating their disappearance say the mum and daughter are known to travel throughout Scotland frequently and regularly visit Glasgow.Enquiries remain ongoing to trace them as soon as possible to ensure they are safe and well.Anyone who has seen Catherine or Eve since Wednesday, February 22, or anyone with information on their whereabouts should contact 101 quoting reference number 3089 of March 17.
