A woman who searched Crown Office computers for details of a dangerous criminal over fears for her safety has walked free from court.
Sharon Davidson, 51, looked up violent thug Marius Bauba after he was involved in a fight in a bar where she worked part-time.
Davidson, of Ayr, worked in an administrative role as a fiscal officer with prosecutors but also had a second job working in a pub.
Following a brawl in the venue, Davidson looked up files on Bauba, 28, because his 'terrible reputation' had left her terrified.Police were told information on Bauba and another man, Thomas McLean, 41, had been accessed and a probe was launched and she was arrested.She faced two charges of breaching the Data Protection Act 2018 by repeatedly looking up
