An advertising watchdog is looking into images on a cosmetic surgery clinic’s website which suggest work by a Beverly Hills surgeon was its own.Expression Facial Surgery, based in Glasgow city centre, used photos of work done by renowned Los Angeles cosmetic and plastic surgeon Dr Rady Rahban on its website.The clinic, run by the Elanic Clinic plastic surgery group, used photographs of three patients’ noses before and after cosmetic procedures, suggesting the work was carried out by their clinics.The Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) is considering what action to take.Expression Facial Surgery’s advertised services include rhinoplasty, commonly known as a nose job, which they say will cost between £3150 and £7100.The images, which are also advertised on Expression Facial Surgery’s London clinic’s website, come from Dr Rahban’s website and show the same two men and one woman before and after the US surgeon carried out the rhinoplasties.
The Sunday Mail approached the Expression Facial Surgery clinic in Glasgow for comment. It did not respond but the pictures were removed from its website within 48 hours.
A source said: “The results of surgery are highly operator dependent and they are luring people in, suggesting they are capable of producing these world-class results.”Expression Facial Surgery’s website boasts that clients will “have access to some of the most experienced facial surgery consultants in Scotland”.Medical director and owner of Elanic Clinic, Dr Vivek Sivarajan, is pictured on Expression’s website under its “consultant-led service”, which it says runs “in conjunction with our partners at the Elanic clinic”.In 2021 the Sunday Mail revealed Signature Clinic in Glasgow had been falsely
