Police are hunting thugs who threw a missile at a car on a Scots road - leaving the vehicle in question badly damaged. The unidentified object was thrown by the mystery yobs from an Ayrshire bridge, causing damage to the vehicle's roof.
The incident took place on Sunday, January 9, on the A78 in Irvine, North Ayrshire, as the driver headed to Ayr, South Ayrshire.
Police Scotland said the incident, which happened at a footbridge at Castlepark Cricle in Irvine, took place at about 4.50pm.
