Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

ScotRail launches new ‘Kids for a Quid’ ticket offering off-peak and weekend travel for just £1 return

ScotRail has announced an incredible travel deal to help families enjoy fun days out for less this summer. The ‘Kids for a Quid’ ticket is available off-peak only, which ScotRail defines as “after 9.15am on weekdays and any time at the weekend” and means for every paying adult, up to four children can travel for just £1 return each, making exploring with the family great value for money.

Kids for a Quid tickets are available with most adult tickets including a ScotRail Season Ticket or Flexipass.ScotRail also said there’s no need to book in advance, simply buy your Kids for a Quid ticket at the station ticket office, or when that isn't available, on the train.
